Ocean Spray and Heinz have announced that, from 1 March 2010, Heinz will manufacture and distribute the Ocean Spray range of beverages and sauces in Australia. The agreement covers Ocean Spray's existing cranberry and other fruit juice drinks, cranberry sauces, Craisins® sweetened dried cranberries and could extend to include new product formats in the future. In the New Zealand market where the Ocean Spray range also enjoys strong sales, there will be no discernable difference to the trading process

Australia and New Zealand is one of a handful of core growth markets for Ocean Spray International. Even before they travel to New York City to perform at Carnegie Hall, vocal music students at Stillwater High School are learning from the opportunity. Students have been working to raise money for their trip through a variety of fundraisers, including a fruit sale that ends next week. By selling refreshments at Oklahoma State concession stands and other items, students are trying to raise $1,500 each for their trip in March.

High school senior Claire Marie Ochse, of Spring Lake will be collecting Box Tops for Education labels from now until Dec. 1, as part of her community service project to help support Hope Academy Charter School, an elementary school in Asbury Park. The school was founded in 2001 and serves 135 students in grades kindergarten through eight. The school's Web site is www.hopeacademycs.org. Each Box Top label collected is redeemed for 10 cents which is donated to the school.
